Superior Guest Room:
One king, queen or two twin beds, many of them antiques acquired from state residences, grace oversized rooms richly swathed in damask, silks and plush carpets. Some rooms can be connected to a Junior Suite. Superior Guest Rooms are sumptuously decorated with rich blue, red and gold hues. Furnishings include wooden inlaid furniture and a plush velvet armchair. (approx. 35 square meters / 380 square feet) Superior Guest Rooms feature large marble-tiled bathrooms with elegant marble vanities. Guest rooms are appointed with custom cabinets containing a mini-bar and writing tables in dark wood and gilt. Carved and gilded Empire-style furnishings echo rich red-and-gold or subtle blue-and-gold color schemes.

Deluxe Guest Room:
Deluxe Guest Rooms feature one king, queen or twin bed and are characterized by rich tones of red, typically used in “roman” décor, and subtle shades of gold and beige. Opulent Italian materials decorate these rooms together with unique accessories, such as intricate cushions and carpets, designed exclusively for the hotel. Architectural details include stucco and Italian marbles. (approx. 40 square meters / 430 square feet)
Deluxe Guest Rooms feature custom cabinets with mini-bar and ornate writing tables. The large marble-tiled bathrooms have elegant marble vanities. Furnishings are Empire-style and the décor is in tones of “roman” red, gold and beige.
Imperial Guest Room:
The largest of our non-suite rooms, Imperial Guest Rooms offer one king bed or twin beds. Warm and elegant, the rooms feature luxurious furniture and marble bathrooms. Large windows provide Imperial Guest Rooms with an open, airy atmosphere. Most bathrooms have two sinks with separate bathtub and shower. (approx. 45 square meters / 490 square feet)
Each detail of the Imperial Guest Room has been carefully considered keeping the guest’s needs and desires in mind. Spacious and luxurious, they are the largest of our non-suite rooms and feature sumptuous furnishings and décor.

Junior Suite:
Junior Suites feature a separate sitting room, large walk-in closet and offer one king, queen or twin bed. Select Junior Suites have a private terrace facing Bernini’s church, St. Maria della Vittoria. The furniture is a combination of Empire, Regency and Louis XV and the sitting room and bedroom feature separate painted doors. Most of the bathrooms have two sinks with a separate bathtub and shower. (approx. 55 square meters / 600 square feet)
The Junior Suite offers a separate living room with richly upholstered sofa and chairs clustered in a conversational grouping adjoins the large bedroom with its oversized bath. Each suite features a unique fresco above the headboard.

Ambassador Suite
Each Ambassador suite is personalized by a different color scheme and refined décor and amenities throughout, the effect is warm and elegant. All are available with one king, queen or twin bed. Precious damask fabrics, Murano glass chandeliers and lamps, original frescos and stucco give a distinct flair to each suite. The marble bathrooms have two sinks and a separate bathtub and shower. Some suites have one and a half bathrooms. (approx. 80 square meters / 860 square feet)

Designer Suite:
The Designer Suite is on the first floor of the hotel and features an entrance hall, living room and a bedroom with bath – the bath features a Jacuzzi – and dressing areas. Coffered ceilings, richly detailed wood and marble floors, sumptuous yet decidedly contemporary architecture, furnishings and fabrics characterize this suite. Among the original artwork from private collections are pieces by important contemporary artists such as Luca Pignatelli, Ubaldo Bartolini and Paolo Fiorentino. (approx. 130 square meters / 1400 square feet)
Stunning platinum and gold colors characterize the Designer Suite. The golden tones of the entrance hall are extended into the living room which blends Belle Époque detailing with modernist furnishings. The accent furniture is largely in the style of 1940’s France. Coffered ceilings, richly detailed wood and marble floors, sumptuous yet decidedly contemporary architecture, furnishings and fabrics lend a unique style.

Royal Suite:
The traditional home of monarchs, heads of state and celebrities, the Royal Suite embodies pure opulence. An entry hall leads to a beautiful living room with grand piano. The suite also has a master bedroom with king bed, guest bedroom, two dressing closets and a marble bathroom with Jacuzzi. The private dining room is furnished with a marble table that seats 12 and is served by a private kitchen and wine cellar. Louis XVI and Piedmontese furnishings complement the wine red, gold and green color scheme and a genuine Aubusson carpet is underfoot. (approx. 300 square meters...
The powerful and famous, from Richard Burton to Juan Peron and Princess Grace to Richard Gere, have enjoyed the Royal Suite. The best of the hotel’s 18th and 19th century antique furnishings are found here, some purchased by the Aga Khan when he owned the hotel. The coved ceiling of the dining room is decorated with a mural inspired by Pompeii, a detail in keeping with the suite’s many other fine appointments.
